Repatriation is one of the most neglected aspects of a life on the move. It is often emotionally challenging without the support that we often find within expatriate communities. W.I.N. 2009 Global Leadership Conference - a few thoughts

Having just returned from the W.I.N. 2009 Global Leadership Conference, I am still impressed and inspired by those days in Prague. Kristin Engvig and her team have once again managed to attract 500 participants from 60 countries. What makes this conference so special is the unique mix of corporate representatives, small business owners and entrepreneurs, creative minds and passionate individuals. In times of crisis, a new leadership style is required focusing on diversity, sustainability and global cooperation.

Families in Global Transition - Houston Conference

The Families in Global Transition Conference will take place from  4-6 March 2010 in Houston Texas. I had the opportunity to present at the 2009 FIGT together with Jeanne Heinzer and can warmly recommend this conference.

Due to other commitments, I won't be able to go to Houston in 2010 but some of my colleagues have submitted proposals.

Go to www.figt.org for more information and watch this space for news about workshop topics.
